Are you a maker who loves creating and wants to share your hand-on skills with the world? Do you wish you had your own course like on Craftsy, Creativebug, or Creativelive? Do you want to learn how to create your own how-to videos to teach your skills? Then you are in the right place!
We are currently developing this course, but you can scroll below to see what is included and what we will cover in more detail.
COURSE TOPICS (by week):
Week 1: Finding Your Course Idea
Week 2: Preparing Your Course Projects
Week 3: Designing Your Studio Sets
Week 4: Setting Up Your Filming Studio
Week 5: Filming Your Course Content
Week 6: Editing Your Course Videos
Who is this course for:
Makers who do quilting, sewing, painting, drawing, jewelry making, needle arts (knitting, crocheting, embroidery), paper crafting, spinning/weaving, sculpting/pottery, doll making, shoe making, leather working, wood working, herbal remedy or soap making, and even cake decorating, cooking, and baking.
Basically, if you have a hand-on skill that you want to teach in an indoor studio setting, with multiple camera views, so your students can see what you are doing, then this course is for you! I will show you everything that I have done as a designer to create my sewing, fashion design, and crafting courses for girls.
If what you do is not listed then you will need to adapt what I'm teaching for what you are doing. This course does include membership to a private facebook group so you can get any added support you need, but if you have question about if it's right for you then please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
