So you’ve been trying to make videos for your business.
You have spent days in the studio or home office trying to make these silly videos, but nothing is right.
You are thinking maybe you are just not cut out for this video thing. Maybe it’s time to just quit?
Are you lacking the confidence to make videos? Do you feel like every time you think about making videos you get scared?
You start thinking about how many times you will mess up, how you’ll forget what to say, and how stupid you’ll look.
Maybe you’ve even tried making videos before and it resulted in a big fat failure.
So, you got all ready to make your videos, your makeup has been done for hours, it’s had plenty of time to settle in and yet you find yourself primping in front of the mirror again. What’s up with this? Let’s talk about what’s really going on!
Your hair is flipping out! No, really...it just all wrong. You can’t get it to go in place and you just look weird. This seems like a silly problem, but it can be real. I’ve had it happen to me times, so I’d like to share with you my thoughts on what to do.
I hear you! I have struggled with this too and especially after my 4th child. I had extra with my other kids but it was mostly in my tummy, but then I even had it on my arms. But because of the experience I had to learn some tricks with my clothing and camera angles that sorta hides what I don’t like and makes me a little more comfortable.
So you want to film some video for your business. In fact, you have been wanting to make some videos for almost a year now.
But you keep hearing this little voice that says “I am just too ugly right now...maybe in a month”. Or “I hate the way I look on camera”.
Today we're going to answer the question, "What if I can't get my video right on the first take? " This is a very common question and I totally get it!
Most people think that they can just turn on the video camera, and they should just be able to get it right on the first take.
Even after 10 years of being on video, I may or may not be able to do it. If you have no experience on video, it could be a struggle for you as well.
This is kinda the first thing everybody thinks when they think about making videos, especially if you have no experience being on camera or talking on stage.
It can be scary to think about and stop you before you even get started.
So, in this episode I want to share with you 4 tips so you don't suck on video!
