So after filming since 2013, we finally have a full array of fun fashionable sewing courses and projects for girls, tweens, teens and even 18" dolls. The plan is to make these courses available to other moms and grandmas who want to teach sewing. They may want to teach in their home sewing studio, set up a sewing school in a rented space, or add sewing classes to their fabric or quilt shop. We plan to put together a package that includes sewing teacher training and sewing teacher licenses. I wanted to film this about 6 months ago, but started working on another project and before I new it my growing pregnant belly had outgrown most of my wardrobe set aside for this course.
Below is a list of our "Sewing Fashionistas" courses that will be included and the sewing teacher trainings that we will be working on to go with them. We plan to be editing all the sewing courses over the next year, but since I have a baby due in September 2016, it will be a little while before I actually film the teacher training videos.
Even though this is somewhat postponed for now, I'm still excited to make this opportunity available to others wanting to bring in a little side income teaching sewing part time. I know how rewarding t can be to do something you love and make a difference in others lives through sewing.
